The Apex Swivel Pulley offers both easy one-handed operation and unmatched security. The Apex is a mid-line attachable pulley that secures the rope using a low-profile, patented, triple-action lock mechanism that can easily be opened with one hand. This lock is operated by three distinct actions: pivot the lock button, depress it, then swing open the side plate. Simply closing the side plate re-engages the lock mechanism and solidly secures the rope. The operation is intuitive and ergonomic. The Apex features symmetrical side plates which are optimized for integration with prusik-based progress capture systems. This streamlines system set-up and minimizes the possibility of mis-rigging. The beautifully forged swivel eye was designed to accommodate up to three carabiners so you can use the Apex in virtually any rigging scenario. Harken’s new Wingman applies new design and technology to achieve more from a compact personal mechanical advantage system. Wingman’s innovative design makes it among the first offerings in this category to achieve internal progress capture mechanically within the unit rather than relying on prusiks to achieve that externally. Wingman combines a ratcheting sheave to stop the rope with a composite handle or wing the operator can open and close under load for a well-modulated ‘fine-tuned’ release. Under full load even with the sheaves pulled completely together, the system may be released quite easily–with full control using one hand on the wing and the other tending the line. The Wingman has a minimum overall length of just 8” which means more clearance under a tripod and more throw during a pick-off. The device is also ideal for creating adjustable directionals, work positioning and much more. It may be configured as a 4:1 or 5:1 mechanical advantage system. These revolutionary features plus ball bearings within the sheaves that maximize efficiency for raising and lowering loads of up to 681lbs, makes Wingman a simple tool you will always want at your side. NFPA “G” and EN 12278 certifications are pending. Comes in an industrial-grade ballistic nylon carrying case with locking buckle. Case includes drawstring and drain grommets to separate unit and line for proper deployment and line drying. Based on Russ Anderson’s original design – that are legendary throughout the fire, rescue and work-related professions. – these pulleys are essential equipment for the serious rigger. The SMC/RA 4″ Double Stainless Steel Pulley rotating side plates allow attachment of the pulley anywhere on the rope and will accept multiple carabiners. Axle nuts are marked with a blue witness line to indicate if the axle nut has been turned or tampered with.

These SMC Pulleys are the mini of minis. Efficient and lightweight, its solid strength and efficiency tests to greater strengths than other pulleys in the same size and price range. It has the required prusik minding capability for use in a haul system (JRB Pulleys are now incorporated in our 4:1 Kit. A 1.20’’ nylon sheave and zinc-coated axle make any system run smooth. Simple to use and easy to carry into the field. Max Rope diameter for the CR is 13 mm. Max rope diameter for the JR and JRB is 9 mm. The CR pulley is a single pulley, while the JR and JRB pulleys are double pulleys.
