VERTICAL SPECIALIST TRUC ALLEN - PMI Rope

Truc Allen brings over twenty years of outdoor experiences including 20+ years of sport climbing, 17 years of whitewater kayaking, 10 years of cave guiding, and 7 years of design/development at ropes courses. Some of Truc’s notable achievements in climbing include his most difficult redpoint – the 13b Haul of Flame at Jacks Canyon, and his most difficult onsight – the 12b Ministry at New River Gorge.

From 1994 to 2008, Truc guided, trained and directed at Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing Adventure Center where among other responsibilities; he was both a climbing and caving instructor. In 2003, Truc also did some bouldering development in central Vietnam’s Ninh Thuan Province. Currently, Truc is the owner of Truc Allen Media, a company that specializes in outdoor life photography.

Born in Vietnam, Truc moved to Roanoke, VA where he grew up, attended college at NAU in Flagstaff, AZ, and currently lives with his wife in Seattle, WA.
